These reviews aren’t just to talk about the game but to look at how the games run and play on the Switch and how they use the Switch features. Let us know in the comments below and share your thoughts.This week’s Switch Re:Port Review features reviews of some big third party ports that finally arrived on Nintendo’s hybrid console. Ninja Theory has shown that even a small independent studio can create high-quality triple-A titles when given the funding and creative freedom most developers aren’t lucky enough to receive. Hellblade has won numerous awards including multiple BAFTAs. ![]() FROMSOFTWARE also released Dark Souls Remastered for the console and it looks and runs quite good. Many Bethesda titles including Skyrim, Doom and Wolfenstein were released for the console as well, and have very favorable reviews. It’s nice to see high budget games coming to the Nintendo Switch as well, and its hardware is definitely something that can handle many games. Mortal Kombat 11 is also headed to the Nintendo Switch this month and the previews have been very solid. Hellblade is developed on Unreal Engine 4, which is a very demanding engine, but very scalable. We’ll wait for the game to officially come out so the actual performance and visual difference can be studied in detail. The game looks and runs pretty good from the footage above, which was recorded at PAX.
